Werkstudent (M/w/d) in Management (English)

We are looking for two student workers, preferably doing Master's studies in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Logistics, or any other Business related course.
Our company is considerably small in terms of employees (around 10), so it is expected that the student worker will help in many different parts of our business, being proactive, and helping solving problems that may arise. The tasks include connecting with customers, sending offers, keeping track of inventory, working with logistics team on packing lists and customs documents, doing customer relations, and many other things. The student worker will be given lots of indenpendency to complete tasks, with our support, and is expected to take initiative and help with small decisions.
Our direct customers are distributors across the world, including customers from Europe, USA, South America, Australia and China. With that in mind, **profficiency in other languages** would be a major asset. The office language is English, although German is also used.
**We require**:
- Advanced level of MS Office (specially **Excel**, and being confident using vlookup, sumif, pivot table, etc).
- Great **Math** skills (dealing with fixed and variable costs, inventory, etc).
- Profficiency in written **English**, and ability to also speak on the phone in English.
- To be based in NRW, nearby Cologne/Bonn. We will not consider applicants who live abroad.
Furthermore, due to the additional stress of dealing with international customers, we pay our employees above market rate. It is possible to work from home in certain cases, but we mainly work all together in the office due to the size of the team.
If everything goes well, and the student is able to handle the tasks assigned, there is the possibility to continue working after conclusion of the studies.

Pay: 15,00€ - 20,00€ per hour
