You have:

- Relevant Procurement Experience preferable within the Area of Facility Management and/or Construction & Fit-Out
- Excellent business knowledge and mind-set within above mentioned markets, good knowledge of industry and market specific conditions
- Experience in supplier development and supplier management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Capability to take responsibility and initiative within your scope of work and to adapt to the fast-changing environment
- A fact base approach
- Good knowledge of data analytical and procurement process tools (ideally SAP/ARIBA)
- You have a university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a completed commercial apprenticeship
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

As a Purchaser you will contribute to the development and execution of the market action plan within the Categories Facility Services and Construction & Fit-Out by securing compliance of the IKEA purchase process, building long-term supplier partnerships and drive supplier performance and by involving relevant business partners to identify business needs and opportunities.

You will:
Take fully responsibility for following and securing the Ingka Procurement purchase process end-to-end and secure compliance of IKEA rules and guidelines, Code of Conduct, law & business ethics for IKEA Facility Services and Construction & Fit-Out Projects in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Be responsible for building long-term trustful partnerships with key supplier and business partners based on shared business model, trust & transparency.
- Be responsible for building and development of a strong supplier base, supplier management and performance by professionally challenge suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of their performance and lead Supplier Development Process when applicable.
- Act according to IKEA values and do business with Fact-based Business Leadership.
- Understand the goals, business priorities and follow through on commitments and achieves results in line with the IKEA vision and values.
- Perform and develop in current business assignment and projects.
- Communicate in a straightforward and inclusive manner and listens actively to gain information.
- Co-operate with team members in other and own units to find and explore synergies and to accomplish common goals.
- Seeks opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate willingness and contributes to change by taking necessary actions and adapt to new circumstances.
- Have the willingness to travel within the mentioned region.
