As the world transitions towards e-mobility, raw materials crucial to that transition are coming under increased scrutiny due to human rights and environmental risks throughout and at the source of global supply chains.
RCS Global Group is the leading provider of supply chain sustainability advisory and audit services. We help our clients identify and manage social and environmental risks in their raw material supply chains. Our clients include some of the largest automotive, electronics, and mining companies in the world.
Our Consult unit helps companies develop and implement their responsible sourcing / production strategies. The Consult work is instrumental in companies placing the respect for human rights and environmental protection in their supply chains at the centre of their business strategy. Our Consult services help companies engage with supply chain risk information - for instance audit results - and integrate it into strategic decision-making. Key Consult service offerings include responsible sourcing strategy development, supply chain due diligence management system development, and external reporting and communications.
With team members from Germany, China, the United States, New Zealand, Rwanda, Russia, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Spain, France, the Netherlands, and Mexico, we are a very diverse team. We work out of offices in Berlin, Shenzhen, Kigali, Goma, Kolwezi, and London.

**Your role**
As the Commercial Partnership leader you will be primarily responsible for (but not limited to):
- Driving business development related to Consults service offering
- Lead Consult sales and marketing activities
- Develop the Consult unit Business development strategy
- Achieve new business targets set up for the Business Unit as part of the unit strategy, and which align with the unit revenue targets
You will spend most of your time in business development activities, creating proposals, webinars, attending conferences, discussing with target clients and conducting negotiations with potential new clients; you will be actively developing growth strategies and collaborating along with a great multicultural team.
You will also be involved in project delivery, and act as escalation point for technical matters and client relationship.
**Where you are based**
Ideally based in Berlin, Germany; but we will also consider UK based professionals. Travel within and outside Europe may be required depending on project needs
**About you**
- Masters’ degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Sustainability, Law, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in a project management, and at least 7 in business development ideally in consultancy company
- Ideally 10 years of work experience with knowledge of responsible sourcing, supply chain and sustainability.
- Experience delivering excellent client service in a client-facing role in a global environment
- Excellent writing skills in English for client-facing deliverables
- Strong attention to detail, Independent and Proactive
- Confident knowledge of problem solving and design thinking frameworks
- Fluency in English (required); working proficiency in French, German, or Mandarin Chinese is a plus
- Understanding of responsible sourcing standards, frameworks, and legislation is a strong plus
