Geospatial Solutions uses geoinformation technologies to create analyses and tools to support the insurance business with a focus on natural hazard risks. The ideal start date is mid-September 2025 for at least 6 months, full-time or part-time.

**Your Tasks**
- Programming and optimization of workflows for geodata processing in Python, in particular open source components (rasterio, geopandas, etc.).
- Creation and documentation of Python modules for the development of reproducible processing chains according to best practice principles.
- Automated creation of spatial datasets to support model development in the field of natural hazard modeling.

**Your Profile**
- Studies in geoinformatics, geography, or similar
- Very good programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge of geoinformation systems, preferably ArcGIS Pro and QGIS
- Reliable and independent work ethic
- Logical and analytical thinking
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master’s degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship
