**We are seeking for**:
Dr. Johannes Meuer and Dr. Moritz Petersen at KLU Hamburg seek to fill a postdoctoral position for the
**Center for Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chains (CSLS).** We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a background in logistics, supply chain management, corporate sustainability/ environmental management, and a dedicated interest in sustainability and circular economy.
The CSLS seeks to make a measurable impact on the sustainability performance of logistics and supply chains through rigorous, original research and its transfer into industry practice and policy. The Center involves a team of highly motivated individuals with diverse backgrounds in management and engineering, passionate about high-quality, rigorous, and impactful research and teaching.

**Our CSLS team** currently consists of four faculty members (Johannes Meuer, Moritz Petersen, Andreas Gernert, Alan McKinnon) and several postdoctoral and doctoral students (Sandra Luttermann, Michael Ntiriakwa, Ramón van Almsick, Dounia Chlyeh, Moritz Jaeger-Roschko, Andres Felipe Rey Ladino and Duncan Mc Geough). We also closely collaborate with other members of the KLU faculty, including, for example, Christian Troester, Shushu Liao, Gordon Wilmsmeier, Kai Hoberg, Alexander Himme, Christina Raasch, and Maria Besiou.

**Your Responsibilities**:
This is a research position with only a few teaching and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will primarily include collecting company-specific data and writing research articles. We welcome applicants with a quantitative or qualitative orientation. You must be able to work with a diverse research team and should be motivated to develop critical insights into how corporate actions may help solve larger societal and environmental challenges.

**Your qualifications**:
Ideally, you
- Are team-oriented, proactive, and structured in your working style
- Have demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research (qualitative or quantitative methods) in management, operations, and sustainability research
- Are eager to conduct independent research in collaboration with our research team
- Show a strong interest in sustainability-related research topics
- Have outstanding communication skills (fluency in professional English)
- Have (or are close to completing) a Ph.D. from a recognized university
