As a **Strategic Account Executive** in the **Aerospace & Defence (A&D)** vertical, you will contribute to expanding PTC’s footprint across the Central European Region (CER/DACH). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to grow within a high-performing team. You will take ownership of select established accounts while also identifying and developing new opportunities among innovative A&D startups. Working closely with solution experts and industry leaders, you’ll position PTC’s technologies — to help customers achieve their digital transformation goals. PTC’s **Digital Thread** approach connects engineering, manufacturing, and service across the entire product lifecycle — enabling Aerospace & Defence organizations to drive innovation, improve quality, and ensure mission readiness. You will play a key role in helping customers leverage this connected ecosystem to deliver smarter, safer, and more sustainable outcomes. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities**: - Manage and grow selected key accounts within the Aerospace & Defence industry. - Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, including assessing emerging A&D startups and market disruptors. - Collaborate with technical and value engineering teams to align PTC’s solutions with customer needs and strategic priorities. - Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and IT. - Drive lead generation and account development through research, outreach, and engagement across multiple channels. - Prepare presentations, proposals, and account plans in collaboration with the wider sales organization. - Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and forecasting data. - Represent PTC professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and internal initiatives. **Preferred Skills and Knowledge**: - Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders. - Self-motivated, accountable, and eager to take ownership of accounts and new market segments. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - 1-3 years of experience in B2B or technology sales (inside sales, SDR, or entry-level AE experience welcome). - Interest in the Aerospace & Defence industry, including emerging technologies, startups, and digital transformation. - Fluency in **German and English** required; additional European languages are a plus. **Life at PTC**: When you join PTC, you’re part of a global team that values curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
