**What you'll do**

SAP has founded the Delos Cloud GmbH to deliver a vendor and solution-neutral sovereign cloud and accelerate the digital transformation of public services in Germany. Catering to the need for digitization in the public sector, the new company will act as a trusted partner providing an open sovereign cloud platform. With Sovereignty and Security at its heart, the cloud infrastructure offering is designed to meet the strict and unique national requirements set out by the German Government’s multi-cloud strategy.

Your responsibilities include:

- oversight over physical security standards, resources, plans, and systems especially related to sovereign Data Centers
- implement and operate access control measures according to national security and secrecy requirements
- lead a team owning the Data Center Physical Security, including adherence to the DC Physical Security Audit Requirements
- ensure adherence to the federal government’s physical security demands including sabotage protection
- support federal government agency audits according to sovereignty requirements
- comply with specific national security requirements for sovereign cloud under instruction of the Secrecy Commissioner
- Assist the Secrecy Commissioner in roll out and operation of restricted facilities
- collaborate with representatives of federal administration, 3rd party service providers and counter parts in SAP Global Security/ Global Physical Security, Government Security & Secrecy, Compliance, Global Real Estate & Facilities, and other business units to specify, document and enforce additional PS guidelines if required for the new company
- monitor sites of responsibility for any change which require a countermeasure, and conducts physical building security risk assessments, surveys, and physical penetration testing.
- drive physical security projects with responsibility over plan, design, bid, construction, and commissioning activities, including new construction, renovation or system replacement

**What you bring**
- Diploma degree (or equivalent)
- Deep knowledge on physical security specifications and standards
- Experience in Data Center Physical Security is a plus
- Project management skills
- High Quality focus
- Results-driven
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Experience in operations, managing a team and coordination of contracted 3rd party resources
- 7- 10 years of functional experience within the corporate physical security industry and/or equivalent (i.e., military, law enforcement, security consulting, etc.)212
- Work experience in a commissioned security position according to current German national regulations
- Deep understanding of business enabling and sales/presales processes is a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills with government authorities and security organizations
- Excellent c-level communication & presentation skills
- Excellent German language skills both in written and spoken language; English skills both in written and spoken language
- Regular mandatory on-call duty for night-time and weekend coverage required
- Residing in Berlin or (direct) surroundings

This organization ensures strict liability fulfillment of customers’ national security requirements, business enablement in sensitive industries and compliance with Critical Infrastructure as well as Telecommunication regulations for SAP world-wide.
