**The Team**:
Celonis AI Group (CeloAI) is a newly formed organization within Celonis that is dedicated to developing state-of-the-art AI/ML (and broadly intelligent) technologies for Celonis products (e.g., the Execution Management System / EMS) and empower enterprises and institutions to make intelligent business decisions and achieve operational excellence. Our dual mission focuses on both the immediate term goals of designing and implementing advanced AI/ML product features and solutions for our customers and the long term goals of establishing competitive advantages of Celonis for execution management.

We are a global organization with presence in both Germany and the US. CeloAI Germany has its presence in Munich, Darmstadt, and Aachen.

**The Role**:
As a Working Student in the ML infrastructure team, you will gain experience in developing production ready python solutions that will accelerate AI/ML product development. You may interact closely with other software engineers, machine learning engineers and platform infrastructure engineers within the product and engineering organization to enable other teams to build scalable and high quality AI/ML solutions for our customers.

**The work you’ll do**:

- Build new features for our python packages/services and contribute to existing ones used by both customers and internal teams
- Drive code quality improvements in our python projects
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and customer support engineers to improve the existing python ecosystem
- Collaborate with various teams and coworkers to drive innovation in AI/ML product development

**The qualifications you need**:

- Student of computer science or of a comparable program
- Engineering background with hands-on-experience in in Python (plus familiar with frameworks such as FastAPI, Pydantic, PyVCR, SQLAlchemy)
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices (unit testing, version control, CI/CD, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and/or Github Actions is a plus
- Curiosity about how things work and the will to improve them
- Ability to understand business problems and the needs of our users
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
