**Your tasks**:

- Understanding and analysis of existing AI/ML based 5G/6G communications systems
- Performance evaluation of AI/ML based signal processing tasks on chosen AI accelerators
- Understanding, configuration and evaluation of various machine learning inference toolkits
- Contribution to improvement and optimization of the AI model parametrization
- Performance and resource optimization of the AI/ML model for given accelerators

**Your qualifications**:

- Enrolled student of computer science, informatics, electrical engineering, telecommunications or comparable field of studies
- Good understanding of signal processing and digital communication basics
- Basic knowledge of the machine learning and deep learning (AI/ML) technology
- Experience with Python or Matlab
- Experience with Linux OS, Vitis, Tensorflow, Sionna is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German- Reference number: 8060
