**Accounting Specialist Accounts Payable (M/F/d)**
Your new job includes
- As a member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the efficient organization and safeguarding of processes in your role as Accounting Specialist (M/F/d).
In particular, you will
- be an important contact person for all technical questions in the Accounts Payable team
- deputize for the team leader and support them with overarching technical issues
- be responsible for analyzing the monthly and annual financial statements in the accounts payable area and carry out quality checks and monitoring, e.g. tracking of GR/IR account maintenance, VIM reporting and the regular review of G/L accounts (provisions, etc.)
- analyze credit-side processes with a critical eye and initiate the resulting process optimizations
- support projects in the area of finance and contribute your technical expertise
- process incoming documents properly and promptly
What you should bring along
- A successfully completed business degree or commercial training with at least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (FI/CO/MM), OpenText VIM and a strong understanding of integrative processes
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- A responsible, analytical and structured way of working
- A service-oriented and communicative manner and enjoy working with internal and external interfaces
- Enthusiasm for your area of expertise and the proactivity to initiate change
