**Your future plans**
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for monitoring threat detection systems and managing the initial response to a cybersecurity incident
- Develop and implement security operations policies, procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organisational security objectives
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex security issues
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry trends to enhance the organisation's security posture
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team

**Your powerful skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, or related disciplines, with a focus on security operations
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and technologies
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, Endpoint Detection & Response systems or other intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
