**Location**: UK, Ireland, France, DACH (preference for this role), Italy, Spain and UAE.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a solutions architect to work with our customers and other AWS teams to help customers understand their existing workloads and provide both technical and strategic guidance, along with architectural best-practice on migrating to the cloud.

- Broaden, and deepen, your cloud experience. Build upon your database expertise to become a cloud guru, becoming your customers’ trusted advisor on database-centric architectures.
- Expand your verbal and written communication skills to execute a go-to-market strategy, ensure success of our most complex customer engagements, collect, organize, and disseminate the expertise needed to drive database, analytics, and machine learning workloads.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with AWS field sales to support customers with their database workload plans and challenges.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams to drive the best outcomes for customers.
- Thought Leadership - Produce and validate content like reference architectures, best practice blogs
- Capture best-practices from engineering and field teams, share patterns and solutions
- Collaborate with AWS field teams to build a strong worldwide database and analytics community.
