VIE Corporate Coverage Associate - Frankfurt, M/F

Your daily routine ?

Within the Corporate Coverage Business Center in Frankfurt, you will support the commercial and credit teams in their daily tasks. You will bring support to commercial activities (research, reporting, presentations, potential profitability analysis, KYC/Compliance). You will daily work in close collaboration with Relationship Managers and you will participate in meetings with clients as support to the business manager in cross-cutting marketing projects (commercial development of the Business Center in the region). You will prepare annual reviews and credit files for new transactions. You will communicate with credit committee and account managers to investigate new requests.

The working environment is important

You will join BNP Paribas CIB EMEA and will support the Relationship Managers working within two teams : Multi National Coverage (MNC) Relationship Manager, dedicated to German subsidiaries of groups based in different other countries, and Pilot Relationship Manager, covering entities of German parent companies (large-cap and mid-cap).

This position is an ideal gateway to the various key businesses of the investment bank. The role will allow you to discover the different business lines of investment banking and develop your business skills thanks to a dynamic sales team with ambitious objectives. It will also be the opportunity to acquire basics in credit analysis. This is a versatile position that will allow you to develop quickly according to your commitment. The size of our branch will offer you exposure to senior interlocutors within Coverage, business lines and Risk Management.

After a successful experience, you can move to a position in a unit of the bank (eg specialized financing) or a position of Credit Analyst in Coverage where your experience focused on commercial and credit components will be highly appreciated.

Are you our next VIE Corporate Coverage Associate ?

You have a master degree majoring in corporate finance and/or banking. You have gained a minimum of 6 months’ experience (internships and work-study program included) in this field, ideally in the banking sector. You have a solid financial and compliance knowledge as well as of marketing.

You speak fluent English. You have a very good command of Excel.

You demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills. Your client-focused approach, your teamwork and your ability to adapt will be assets to progress on this mission.

**Concrètement votre quotidien ?**:
Au sein du département Corporate Coverage, Business Center, vous soutiendrez les équipes commerciale et crédit dans leurs tâches quotidiennes. Vous apporterez un support de qualité aux activités commerciales (recherche, reporting, présentations, analyse de la profitabilité de potentielles transactions, KYC/Compliance) et au Country Head. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les Relationship Managers et vous participerez à des réunions avec des clients en tant que soutien au chargé d’affaires. Vous préparerez les revues annuelles et de dossiers de crédit pour de nouvelles transactions. Vous communiquerez avec le comité de crédit et les chargés d'affaires pour instruire les nouvelles demandes.
