The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for supervising the accounts payable team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting month-end and year-end financial closings. YOUR TASKS
- Supervise and lead a team of AP clerks/specialists.
- Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and expense reimbursements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues with vendors.
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure proper invoice matching and coding.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Train and develop team members to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of AP procedures and controls.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (5-7 years) within an international company
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
- Experience with accounting software Netsuite preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
