We are searching for an experienced Technical Marketing Writer to own and lead projects related to the TeamCity website. As a part of the TeamCity Marketing team, you will write, revise, and restructure a wide range of content across our websites, driving the demand for the product. You will participate in UX studies to understand and prioritize needs of different customer personas (developers, DevOps, QA, managers), and make sure that all parts of the website meet their expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, research, write and update product-focused content including feature descriptions, blog posts, landing pages and tutorials.
- Create general content about continuous integration, continuous deployment and best practices in software development.
- Work closely with the team to understand the product and its roadmap, and identify opportunities for further improvement of marketing materials.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, translators and other roles involved into the content publishing process.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of proven work experience writing for the web as a content marketing writer or a technical writer, for the global audience.
- Fluent spoken and written English proven by samples of your work.
- Ability to learn new technologies and translate complex ideas into clear and concise text.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, popular development practices and the tools used.
- Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and how customers search for products and services.
- Technical background or experience working in a software development team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Preferable:

- Amateur or professional software development experience.
- Experience creating marketing/technical content about software development and collaboration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS, Google Cloud, and other similar tools.
- Developer advocacy experience.
