**Job Summary**
We are delighted to be assisting a key strategic partner with the recruitment of a Director of Risk and Compliance for a leading digital payments company, based in Hamburg. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen the company’s risk management and compliance frameworks in a rapidly evolving industry.

**Role Summary**:The Director of Risk and Compliance will be responsible for ensuring the company operates in accordance with regulatory requirements while managing risks effectively. The role will involve building a robust compliance culture, aligning operations with industry standards, and protecting the company from regulatory and operational risks.

**Key Roles**:

- **Risk Management**: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and legal risks.
- **Compliance Leadership**: Lead compliance efforts to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards in the digital payments sector.
- **Policy Development**: Establish and maintain compliance and risk management policies across all areas of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure the business is fully compliant with local and international regulations and payment processing standards.
- **Risk Monitoring**: Identify, assess, and monitor potential risks and develop strategies to minimise their impact on business operations.
- **Internal Training**: Promote a culture of compliance by providing training and guidance to employees on regulatory requirements and risk management practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 130.000,00€ per year
