**Duties**:
This position serves as a regional HR Specialist supporting posts throughout the EUR and IO region, and as a technical resource for advising EUR and IO posts on HR policy, related training, and best practices. As a Regional HR Specialist the job position is responsible for managing, implementing, and advising on USDH and E Staff HR programs and operations for a portfolio of posts throughout the region, many of which do not have a dedicated USDH HRO. This may include the full spectrum of HR portfolios, such as performance management, recruitment, personnel actions, etc., both virtually and through TDY visits. Additionally, the position is expected to develop and execute innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes, train and mentor newer HR employees, and advise post HR, supervisors, management, and other customers on HR policies.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in the field of Human Resources/Personnel Management.
- Education Requirements:
Mandatory: Two years of post-secondary education.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Mandatory: English - Fluent; speaking/reading/writing, may include the ability to translate. THIS WILL BE TESTED.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to hold a Top-Secret Security clearance.
