We are looking to hire Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to join a client in Germany

**Academic Background**

Bachelor of Engineering / Technology / Science

**Overall Experience (in yrs.)**

10+ years, with at least 8 years of experience in IT solution design

**Skill Summary**

**Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)**
- Designing Websphere Liberty solution for various offerings
- Integrating Websphere Liberty solutions with identify, monitoring and event management solutions
- Ability to assess the solution from nonfunctional aspects
- Defining migration path from Websphere-to-Websphere Liberty
- Ability to handhold migration and build teams in building Liberty environment that meets customer needs
- Act as a product owner and make sure that product lifecycle management is performed on periodic basis
- Must possess experience as an enterprise architect for a completed large-scale project
- Must have undertaken the role of Technology Architect in a few projects
- Must have experience of architectures involving system planning, networking, operating systems, cloud, backup & archival, EMS, RPO/RTO management
- Must have experience of at least two projects involving transformation & migration
- Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation.
- Must have experience in architecting Hybrid Cloud solution and exposure to Software Defined Datacenter
- Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
- Understanding and experience to ensure that systems are documented and kept current.
- Ability to work on design activities and assist with required data points
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements mapped to technology trends so as to derive high level architecture
- Should possess extensive detailed working knowledge and acumen in the technology domains

**Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)**
- IBM Websphere Liberty solution
- TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect is desired
- ESXi, NSX, vSAN, VCF, KVM, Neutron, CEPH, OpenStack, Compute (Blade), SAN (IBM, DellEMC, HPE), NAS (NetApp, ISILON), Object, Backup (DellEMC, Veeam), Physical Hosting, OS (Win, Lin), DB (Oracle, SQL, DB2, MongoDB)
- Shall be single point of contact and owner for the Technology and Architecture
- Develop deep understanding of existing architecture and deployment
- Manage architectural transformation
- Imbibe key architectural principles proposed by Customer and perform detailed design of Cloud, Virtualization, Network, Security, Tools, Storage, Servers, Backup & Replication architecture
- Responsible for creating or selecting the most appropriate architecture and technology to enable scalability, flexibility, agility, consolidation & optimization involving latest technology trends
- Manage architectural changes and ensure timely and accurate documentation of all key changes
- Business Continuity Planning (DR, RPO, RTO)
- Migration planning including service sequencing, cutover and rollback plans
- Responsible for successful deployment of new architecture
- Responsible for migration execution till stabilization, sign-off and handover
- Operations Process documentation (Operational Manual)
- Foresee possible technological risks on the transformed DC and workout possible mitigation strategies
