We are looking for a passionate **Security Specialist (M/F/d)** at our locations **Bayreuth**or **Lehrte**who will contribute to this and that might be you?**Your profile and background**:

- Completed **Master/Bachelor education** (preferred computer science, IT/cyber security or similar), supplemented by CISSP, CISM, EDP audit and/or CISA
- At least** 5 years of practical IT Security, Risk & Compliance experience**& demonstrated knowledge of the fields of **information security**, **IT compliance management** and **risk management**:

- Strong on **written**and **presentation**skills
- Proficient in the **English**and **German**language
- **Analytical**and **independent**working style, coupled with teamwork and strong communication skills
- You are **assertive**and can handle stress well
- Willingness to assume **responsibility**for projects and committees

**Your contribution to TenneT**:

As a **Security Specialist (M/F/d)** you are responsible for **developing**and **implementing** the information security measures and responding to security events. You will ensures the **security**and **integrity**of TenneT’s critical information and processes, making sure the light keeps on. Further responsibility of the Security Specialist lies in **safeguarding**all data, devices, infrastructure and systems against malware, exploit attempts, intrusions and attacks.**Your main tasks**:

- **Implement**the information security, compliant with the required guidelines and German regulatory laws and requirements
- ** Deploy**and **maintain**information security technologies with respect to the latest technological advancements in the field of cybersecurity
- ** First line of defense**: Contact for Asset Chain Germany for all IT security issues
- Determining **security measures** based on the security level of IT services & Implement protective measures
- Conducting and supporting audits (**ISMS**, **ENTSOE**) / **Advising**on contracts and tenders
- ** Supporting/managing** projects related to current IT security issues & support on operational information security topics
- Provide security awareness, education, **best practices**, ISMS training and communication to stakeholders and TenneT as a whole
- Report **security incidents**to relevant stakeholders and take appropriate steps
