As a Senior Product Owner, you will be instrumental in defining and delivering our data initiatives, working at the intersection of business and technology. You will drive strategic priorities, oversee complex backlogs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while delivering exceptional value to stakeholders. Acting as a thought leader, you will collaborate with diverse teams to champion data excellence across the organization.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Partner with data and solution architects, business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders across Europe and globally to design and implement data-driven initiatives.
- Define, prioritize, and manage complex backlogs, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives, while balancing short-term deliverables with long-term vision.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships across matrixed organizations, driving customer satisfaction and alignment through exceptional stakeholder management and communication.
- Champion Agile methodologies and iterative development practices, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-impact solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the results meet the business requirements and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Represent the Data Excellence Team in cross-departmental projects, serving as a liaison between different teams to ensure alignment and coherence.
**Personal Skills and Professional Experience**:
- Successfully completed studies in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration) as well as minimum 7 years of professional working experience.
- Several years (at least 3-5 years) of proven experience as a Senior Product Owner, preferably in a data-driven environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale data platform solutions across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile/Scrum practices.
- Expertise in Data Platform design, development, rollout, and operation across diverse geographies for leveraging customer data.
- Proficient stakeholder communication in matrixed organizations, demonstrating negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven track record as an Agile Product Owner, driving iterative development cycles.
- Comprehensive experience in end-to-end product management, including requirement definition and backlog management.
- Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and regulatory compliance in customer data handling.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, fostering communication and alignment with organizational goals, while being analytical, proactive, and open-minded.
