About the Role
As a divisional Market Intelligence team we take care of strategic market insights of divisional interest and ensure a continuous market intelligence inflow to the global organization of Harman Automotive. With a culture of high performance, we take the role of thought leaders to facilitate new processes and install new standards across the division. We are part of the divisional strategy department and bring the market view into strategic discussions and decisions within the automotive division.
We want to bring our competitive intelligence to the next level and we are looking for a working student with a keen interest in strategic market analytics who will support us in successfully executing a Proof-of-Concept Study for a new competitive intelligence tool.
What You Will Do- Support of a Proof-of-Concept Study for a new competitive intelligence tool to enable Harman Automotive to collect, curate and deliver competitive intelligence across relevant departments. Related activities will include:
- Internal/external information collection to setup and populate the platform-
- Continuous data pre-processing-
- Regular feedback to data structure and for training of ML/AI algorithms-
- Development and implementation of analysis and reporting functionalities, e.g. dashboard tools, alerts, newsletter, snapshot reports)-
- Project Management support-
- Support of ad-hoc competitive intelligence searches- Preparation and execution support for meetings and workshop activities- Preparation and execution support for training activities
What You Need- Enrolled in an university study program (preferred business or engineering background), if at bachelor level minimum advanced to semester 4- Solid English language skills, German is a plus- Digital first approach: comfortable working with online collaboration tools such as MS Teams and cloud-based Web portals- Good PowerPoint and solid Excel skills- Experiences in community management, workshop facilitation and graphics design are welcome- Experience in automotive electronics and market intelligence is welcome- Highly motivated and proactive team player who loves working in an international team- Good written and verbal communication skills and storytelling ability
