**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Compliance Officer, you ensure that our growth is built on a **foundation of integrity** and **sustainable business relationships** and that our actions and decisions in all areas **meet legal and ethical requirements.**

**This position includes in particular**:

- Establishing and adapting the **processes and guidelines for all locations**, as well as regularly **training our employees** and tracking them to ensure compliance.
- **Identification of potential risks** and examination of potential new customers as part of a suitable due diligence process, regarding money laundering, terrorist financing and other criminal acts.
- Carrying out regular spot checks to control the **KYC and KYT processes.**:

- Implementation of **internal control measures**.
- **Creation of suspicious transaction reports** to the relevant authorities (German FIU, CTIF, etc.).
- Regularly monitoring and updating **the iBanFirst risk mapping.**:

- Creation of internal and external **reports to the relevant authorities**:

- Representing the interface between, and working with, the front and middle office on specific issues.
- Participation in the implementation of cross-departmental regulatory projects.
- iBanFirst's Compliance Officers act as a contact for all colleagues, regardless of department or seniority, to **provide advice and action as well as instructions**

**PROFILE**

**What could guarantee your success for this position?**
- You own a Masters / comparable degree in business law / banking and finance law / political science / international relations / business administration.
- You ideally justify **3-5 years of experience** **in a similar position.**:

- You have knowledge of **AML / TF** and **PSD2 components.**:

- You are** fluent in German and English** (spoken and written); any other language is an advantage.
- You **can think and work strategically and analytically**, and through your communication skills in the company, you can make the need for integrity in our business dealings understandable at all levels.
