Our proteomics team in Munich is looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate:
Senior Scientist (f/m/d) - High Sensitivity Proteomics

Full-time and permanent

Your key responsibilities:
- Build up and continuously look for improving analytical workflows for smallest sample amounts by combining microfluidic sample preparation with highest sensitivity liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to enable the quantitative characterization of protein profiles from e.g. single cells-
- Interface with customers to initiate and lead proteomics studies- Participate in interdisciplinary teams alongside colleagues and scientists from customers to actively contribute to integrated projects- Constantly improve applied mass spectrometry based proteomics methodologies to deliver first in class service

Your ideal qualifications:- In-depth experience and understanding in the field of mass spectrometry-based proteomics and a few years of practical experience-
- Strong communication skills and high standard of written work- Ability to work independently and well-organized in a fast-paced work environment- Experience in management of staff is beneficial- Basic coding in R or Python is a plus but not essential- Fluent English, a commitment to master German language in a timely manner is expected
