**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As Content Marketing Lead you will take charge of our content strategy aimed at generating demand and increasing awareness of Zalando logistics solutions. Together with a Copywriter and a content agency that you will hire and manage, you'll work to produce quality content pieces that inform and inspire existing and potential Zalando customers. Our target audience is fashion & lifestyle merchants selling on the Zalando platform and beyond.
You will report into the Marketing Team Lead for Connected Network and help further shape the newly established marketing department, whose goal is to generate demand and enable customer acquisition.
Connected Network solutions empower partners to exceed customer expectations, accelerate growth and improve supply chain economics. We offer fulfillment, shipping, returns, and premium last-mile logistics services on and off Zalando. The journey we are on will change the game in the logistics e-commerce industry and enable companies to reach millions of consumers with their products, in a more sustainable way. We will reinvent how European consumers think about deliveries and drive sustainability through technology. We are driving the business model development for logistics and for Zalando. Being a small unit within a big company enables us to act fast, but with the backup from one of the leading online platforms for fashion and lifestyle in Europe.

**WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED**:
- You will develop, own and execute a content strategy aimed at generating demand and increasing awareness of Zalando logistics solutions;
- You will hire and manage a Copywriter and a content agency to produce content pieces and repurpose them into multiple formats;
- You will work with internal company stakeholders, industry influencers and research institutions to spot logistics & ecommerce trends and bring them to life in research reports, white papers, blog articles, videos, podcasts etc.;
- You will work with your team to create educational content aimed at providing insights & strategies to merchants with lower logistics maturity, and set up foundations for SEO;
- You will work closely with other members of the Marketing team to promote & distribute content pieces across various channels;
- You will measure, analyze and improve content performance on an ongoing basis.
**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:
- You have 6+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, with 2+ years of experience in logistics/supply chains and a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field;
- You bring substantial knowledge of B2B content marketing & strong editorial thinking, and have led teams of copywriters, designers (freelance or full-time) and content agencies;
- You are well-versed in SEO foundations and have experience developing SEO strategies;
- You speak native or near-native English, both written & spoken; other European languages are a plus. On top of this, you have a good eye for creative copy.
- Hyper-growth startup background is highly desirable - you thrive in ambiguity and possess a hands-on mentality; you love both strategy and operations
- You are a natural storyteller who knows how to present complex ideas in a simple way
