**About the Role**:
We are looking for a AI Applications Lead (M/F/d) to join our growing business and to make food delivery more scalable and better for everyone. As our AI Applications Lead, you will be responsible for leading and driving the development, implementation, and execution of our artificial intelligence (AI) strategy.
You will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of AI to transform our business operations, improve decision-making processes, and create innovative solutions to scale our business and revolutionise food delivery long-term for the better.
**Your Daily Business**:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Identify and prioritise AI initiatives that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and industry trends to ensure we are pioneering AI advancements in the food delivery industry.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of internal and external AI professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to design and develop AI-powered solutions that address our business needs and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of AI projects, ensuring successful execution, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
- Drive the integration of AI technologies into existing systems and processes, optimizing performance and scalability.
**Base Qualifications**:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. A strong background in machine learning is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience working in AI-related roles, including hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or in managing cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, especially ability to effectively convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successful AI project delivery, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and user experience.
- Familiarity with ethical and responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, privacy protection, and algorithmic transparency.
