**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As the Senior Controller (all genders) within the Logistics Controlling team, you are responsible for the central planning and controlling of Zalando Logistics. With more than 200 million Orders, 525 million Shipped Items annually, Logistics is the back-bone of Zalando’s success story and our Logistics Controlling department is responsible for planning & monitoring the annual logistics budget of approx 2.9 Billion euros.

**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- Focusing on financial and operational Controlling for our Logistics department and taking care of the main reporting tooling. Increase transparency through continuously improving our tooling, dashboards and reporting landscape for financial closing and monitoring SLA results
- Actively taking part in business case preparations, assumption validation, target setting and budgeting process within our International hubs
- Working autonomously with our data to create new metrics and reports and maintain existing ones in close cooperation with our Business Intelligence & Central Finance teams
- You lead planning, forecasts and reporting processes for local warehouses and drive the context beyond the numbers
- Be a go-to person for other Controlling Teams, for our Business Intelligence, Central Finance, Operational Logistics teams and Senior Management, providing transparency and decision support

**WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have a university degree in economics, business administration, mathematics, statistics or similar disciplines and relevant experience in Controlling with a strong analytical/financial focus (Financial modelling, Analytical tooling, Planning & Reporting, Dashboards, etc.)
- You have more than 4 years of experience in Financial/Operational Controlling, Logistics and/ or similar fields of expertise.
- You are fluent in English.
- Have a very good understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills with a passion for the latest tools & technologies (excellent knowledge in Office skills, Power Office tools & SAP Hana; Google Looker Studio, Microstrategy).
- Have a controlling mindset with an ability to challenge & support our stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis to enable our growth strategy, understanding key trade-offs, and actively supporting business decisions.
- You are thrilled to crack challenges and ensure the successful adoption of solutions.
- You find it easy to stay on top of things, even in a very dynamic environment with fast-paced changes.
- You have high resilience and the ability to work with very senior stakeholders (from Director to SVP level).
