Your Mission
- You will support the Team Lead Accounting in Accounting and Tax Compliance of our company (including MB AG guidelines)
- You will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB
- Consolidation of the financial statements into the parent group company and preparation of reporting packages for the Group Accounting of Mercedes-Benz AG, within the given timeline
- Managing external financial and tax audits will also be part of your tasks

Your Profile

Education
- Study of Business Administration or a Commercial Education and a Bachelor Professional of Accounting (CCI) is mandatory

Experience
- Several years of professional experience as an accountant for an industrial or software company
- Experience as an accountant in a small or medium-sized company and in a multinational corporation
- Extensive experience in preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Experience in consolidation, reporting, MIF
- Deep understanding of financial accounting, including both general ledger and subledgers
- Proven operational finance capability; close & compliance experience
- Very good knowledge of German tax law and experience of managing external financial and tax audits
- Experience in processing large amounts of data (Excel and SAP)
- Hands-on mentality and experience of working with SAP F1 Light, Confluence, Excel and Power Point
- Excellent analytical skills

- Proficiency in problem solving, troubleshooting commercial and legal issues and can-do attitude
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance, and resilience
- Well-developed communication and teamwork skills

Language skills
- Fluent in both German and English.
