**Duties**:
The Incumbent is a member of a Team responsible for the overall maintenance program supporting Embassy Berlin’s official and residential building operations to include a variety or technical and non
- technical, un-licensed, mechanical, electrical, maintenance, HVAC, painting, carpentry, custodial, plumbing, general repair and other handyperson tasks. The incumbent may also be required to provide maintenance and technical assistance to constituent posts, including the Consulates Leipzig and Hamburg.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
2 years' work experience in maintenance and repair of large facilities (military, government, commercial, residential properties) is required.

2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Wartung und Instandhaltung von Großanlagen (Militär, Behörden, Gewerbe
- und Wohngebäude) sind erforderlich.
- Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school (German: Realschule, America: American High School Diploma or GED) is required.

Further, vocational training in a construction trade with a journeyman or US equivalent certificate is required.
- Evaluations:
Position requires limited working knowledge language skills in English (reading/speaking).
Position requires good working knowledge language skills in German (reading/speaking).
- Must have a valid German/EU driver’s license class B. **(please submit front and back of the license)**
