To reach our goal, we need a Research Lead to support us in the R&D stage. It can be part-time or project-based work.
Working on this project will be working closely with the founders and will take a leading part in this research so that we can set up the foundations to produce commercial amounts of our products in Europe. You will have the opportunity to connect your academic knowledge and research skills with business input and have an incredible learning curve.

Your main responsibilities:
1. Performing research and market mapping to identify suitable labs and institutes.
2. Initiating connections and building communication based on our project goals.
3.Preparing reports, relevant documentation and lab requests.
4.Supporting us in overseeing and improving the R&D process.
We are open to considering different work formats and collaboration. The project can develop into a prolonged collaboration. Although you will get all the necessary support from us, any experience or background in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering can be a great advantage.

Your experience:
To support your success we will provide you with the necessary guidance and existing market study.
Confidence, problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial drive will make you the best fit for this role. In addition, the following experience will help you to be the most successful in the role:
1.Educational background in chemistry and/ or têxtiles - Master or PhD.
2.Research mindset with strong analytical thinking, and ideally gained already experience in research projects.
3.Interested in and knowledgeable about greentech, sustainability and circular economy.
4.Passion for the topic, learning drive and a ‘not giving up’ attitude - your research drive will support the business scale-up.
5.You are fluent in both English and German.
