At the Höhr-Grenzhausen location (WesterWaldCampus), there is a vacancy in the Department of Building Materials and Plastics for the materials engineering courses of study, in the specialization of materials engineering, glass and ceramics, to begin as soon as possible.

Special emphasis is placed on exemplary didactic competence and the ability to convey basic knowledge in a sound and practical manner. Experience with eLearning and modern didactic formats is desired. It is also expected that the relevant qualification offers of the university are used.
A high quality of teaching and supporting the students in their learning processes is an important concern for us. This includes the readiness for blended learning, online teaching and teaching evaluation, the implementation of teaching in German and English and a weekly attendance, which enables the qua-lified consultation and regular contact with students as well as the participation in the self-governing bodies of the university.
The applicant is expected to be able to agree with the university's mission statement and quality concept.
The future position holder is expected to advance research in the department. The willingness to cooperate with business enterprises, research institutions and other universities is expected. Furthermore, the willingness for international and interdisciplinary cooperation in research and teaching is expected. An already existing scientific visibility in research towards industrial companies is desired. In addition, we expect a high degree of identification with the courses of study, the university and the department.
