**What You'll Do**

The Document Verification Specialist/Compliance & HR Admin is responsible for reviewing and verifying HR-related documents, such as internship records, certificates of enrollment, and working permits, to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. This role also involves a range of HR administrative tasks such as updating employee records, processing leave requests and digitizing historical documents. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in both English and German, with a focus on supporting compliance during internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Communicates with interns, employees, and authorities (e.g., customs, LAVG, Rentenversicherung) to resolve document discrepancies.
- Provides support to stakeholders in verifying documents and explaining compliance requirements.
- Supports in aligning compliance processes with business goals.
- Understands the importance of compliance in HR documentation and its impact on operational and legal audits.
- Ensures document verification aligns with business needs and reduces risk during upcoming regulatory inspections.
- Manages document verification processes and ensures accurate data input and tracking in compliance databases.
- Uploads historical HR documents into digital systems and maintains the integrity of archived records.
- Provides checks in SOX controls

**What You'll Bring**
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in office administration or HR is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HR laws, SOX compliance, benefits audits, and work permit regulations.
- Strong research, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in document verification and HR administration.
- Strong proficiency in both English and German.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for managing documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
