**Mechatronics Technician (m-f-d)**

(part-time 30 hours/week; limited to 24 months)

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the tool shop; provide technical support as well as supervision for students, researchers, and external users of the facility
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechatronic devices in close collaboration with the principal investigator
- Co-supervision of practical course components (introduction, supervision, and support of/for students)
- Coordination and support in the preparation and implementation of field activities
- Maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure, especially care and maintenance of scientific instruments and ordering
- Support in the implementation and monitoring of safety measures. Supervision of compliance with safety measures

**Your qualifications**:

- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or comparable qualification
- Experience in an educational setting and in supervising students is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office and knowledge in CAD
- Good written and spoken English and German language skills
- Open-minded, independent, structured, and service-oriented way of working in an international environment
- Reliability and ability to work in a team
