Social Media Specialist (M/F/d) - Freelancer

You will support our social media team as Freelancer for six to nine months in bringing our global social media presence to the next level - and beyond.

Simon-Kucher’s social media activities are growing fast. Our new Social Media Specialist will support the firm’s efforts extending our social content strategy, continue to amplify the audience significantly, and increase traffic to the company’s website.

The Social Media Specialist will report to the Head of Digital and Data Marketing. You will work with our social media team, supporting in content creation, creating and implementing paid campaigns and work with relevant stakeholders throughout the whole marketing team.

Importantly, you possess excellent English skills (both written and spoken), already have a high knowledge of all relevant social media platforms and you have meticulous attention to detail.

The role will be preferably located in Germany, and occasional travel to other German offices will be required as part of this role.

**How you will create an impact**:

- Create or adapt content for social media postings in cooperation including writing and editing captions and working closely with our design team and other relevant stakeholders
- Measure success of social media activities and act on findings to further improve Simon-Kucher’s social media strategy
- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends on social media and develop new content formats accordingly with the social media team
- Responsible for creating and implementing paid campaigns on different social media platforms
- Do community management and social listening to gain better insights on our growing audience
- Support the team in increasing brand awareness on all relevant social media platforms via social media advocacy among Simon-Kucher employees
- Constantly ideate ways to gather content for our channels and increase our followers

**About you**:

- 2-5 years of experience in social media and social content management in the B2B field
- Broad experience with content creation for all relevant social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- High quality standards and meticulous attention to detail
- Creative mind and appreciation of good visual design
- Well versed in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite)
- Mastering of social media analytics
- Good feeling for the latest social media topics and trends as well as for design trends
- Quick learner with an overall passion for continuous improvement and passion to grow in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a very structured and organized way of working
