The marketing team promotes all academic programs at ESMT Berlin, and is looking for a

**Student Assistant - Media Design & Video**
(M/F/x, 20h/week, to start as soon as possible)

**You will**:

- Assist during interviews and video shoots with both preparation and filming
- Record B-roll of various activities, events, and locations connected to the school
- Operate video equipment such as cameras, lighting and audio devices
- Assist with video editing tasks using industry-standard software (Adobe CC), ensuring high-quality post-production output for our social media channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Help with video file organization, archiving, and asset management
- Provide support in handling platform requirements such as titles, descriptions, and thumbnails
- Assist in conducting quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks

**You are qualified for this position, because you**:

- Are currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in film, video production, graphic design, multimedia, or a related field
- Will remain enrolled in a full-time bachelor or master program for the next 12 months, at least
- Are familiar with camera operation, lighting, and audio recording. Photography skills are a plus
- Are proficient in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Are knowledgeable about graphic design. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is a plus
- Are knowledgeable about current video production and graphic design trends and techniques, particularly those related to the social media platforms we use
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Can submit a portfolio, showreel or personal channel demonstrating previous work
