As one of our
**UX/UI Designers**, you’ll work with engineers, web content managers, and cross-functional teams (marketing, customer care ) to understand the problems of the stakeholders & customers to provide the best visual solutions possible. At Hashtag You, we value collaboration, mobile-first thinking, working with business goals in mind, and caring deeply about the customer experience. We produce and sell beautiful products that our customers adore, and we want our Shopify webshops to bring up the same emotions. We create the things we are selling, and we love them.

**Your tasks**:

- Continuously improve our German, French, and Italian webshops’ design
- Research and benchmark regularly to understand user behaviour and market offerings better, then document the findings to share with the team
- Prepare flows, mockups, and designs. Estimate new tasks and ideas
- Maintain and improve our standardized library of UI components (design system)
- Provide the team with design expertise in brainstorming sessions and be proactive in advocating for customer needs
- Keep in mind the business goals, but also customer experience, engineer’s estimations, and limitations of service providers/Shopify apps
- Provide design QA for front-end developers during the implementation stage
- Find and propose “quick wins” in terms of the customer journey
- Work with priorities bringing transparency to the teamwork, so stakeholders choose what is the most important now.

**Your profile**:

- Strong design skills with several years of experience in UX/UI design
- Several years of working in cross-functional teams (with front-end engineers, product managers, content managers, and other team members)
- Owned and delivered complex design projects with several stakeholders involved
- Worked from the business goals toward the user experience
- Used to constantly educate yourself professionally and improve your skills
- Have an eye for compositional design, layout, and detail
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Talented at giving, getting and implementing feedback
- Practical knowledge of Figma
- Fluency in English

**It’s great if you also have**:

- Experience working with e-commerce/fintech products (to understand the customer flow better)
- Worked in Startups before (so you understand the high-paced culture with international colleagues)
- Experience in Scrum/Kanban/Agile projects where the team commits to bring something to go live in two weeks, then delivers it and regroups
- Knowledge of standardized e-commerce platforms (Shopify or others)
- German/Italian/French language skills (we have webshops in those countries)
