We are Dreamlines, an innovative, international online travel agency that is specialized in cruises. We're the leading partner for our customers and suppliers in both Europe and Australia. As a tech and data driven company, we are looking to build our analytics capabilities and seek a Teamlead Data Analytics to build the analytics team and capabilities for the company.

The role is primarily remote, working from home, as are most other colleagues. However, we generally meetup monthly in person with the team and/or other colleagues. As a result, the ability to travel monthly is needed, typically for two to three day visits to our offices in Hamburg or Manchester.
- JOB DESCRIPTION_

This role will report to the CTO and establish and lead analytics department and oversees the activities of the junior departments and personnel. In this role, the Teamlead Data Analytics ensures that the business in its various departments understands their own health, finds growth levers, and identifies opportunities for optimization. The Teamlead of Analytics leads the business through all efforts that drive business performance and potential by using the existent and new data sources and techniques. He/she leads the data analytics department in the development of a departmental culture, policies, and strategy. The role will involve the Teamlead Data Analytics getting his or her hands dirty and solving hard analytical problems for the business, taking a seat at the table alongside Technology, Marketing, Product, and Sales.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Build the team and determine what roles are most needed for the business
- Manage the team and ensure an enthusiastic and capable team is aligned to and deployed against projects with the highest business impact
- Drive technology requirements and investments that make analytics a strategic weapon for the company
- Guide the work (and do some of it yourself as well) across a wide area of responsibilities
- Interface and collaborate with cross-functional teams

**Requirements**:

- Deep analytics experience and several years of experience in a data analyst position, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in the execution of data analytics initiatives
- Experience working with large data-sets and computing systems such as BigQuery, Hadoop, etc.
- Experience working a wide range of data to predict financial metrics for a business by leading quantitative analyses as well as response and risk models
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills and work comfortably in a cross-functional setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Take accountability for the business´s performance
