**What part will you play?**

As Expert (f/m/d) product-related Environmental Protection (PREP) you will support the organization by ensuring product related environmental protection aspects according to Siemens EHS and Sustainability requirements, market and customer requirements as well as legal obligations.- In your role you will keep updated with all respective regulations and standards and communicate specific into the organization.
- By doing that you will be a close contact person to R&D to ensure implementation of respective requirements including sustainability aspects.
- Developing, proposing and supporting the implementation of function specific environmental guidelines, processes and methods (e.g. substance management) will also be part of your task area.
- Additionally, you will give guidance and participate in LCA as well as you will push Robust Eco Design in our Business Unit, with focus on R&D projects.
- Preparing proposals for answering product-related customer inquiries will also be in the range of your duties.
- Moreover, you are responsible for delivering regular external PREP reporting for official authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Taking part in Business community is also part of your role.
- You will support internal and external inspections, audits and assessment as well as you will train employees and management
- Assisting corrective and preventive actions in case of nonconformances rounds off your profile.

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- The basis of your success is a Master´s degree in Engineering, IT or related science or an equivalent technical/engineering field.
- Additionally, you bring a long-term experience with product related environmental aspects and basic sustainability knowledge.
- You have experience in intercultural cooperation.
- You are experienced with digitalization projects and tools (e.g. TeamCenter, SAP) as well as in understanding international and complex projects and project teams.
- You have detailed knowledge of product-related environmental protection, like Substances of High concern, REACH and ROHS and Life Cycle Assesments.
- Advanced communication techniques, the ability to tailor your communications to different audiences and stakeholder-management skills characterize you.
- Fluent English and German Skills round off your profile.
