The BU Offshore in BA Wind is responsible for developing, constructing and operating Offshore wind farms. BU Offshore currently consist of 12 operating windfarms with a total capacity of 2.1GW spread across Europe. We are currently working on the commissioning of two other wind farms for 2.1GW and have a healthy pipeline of future opportunities.

The team of BU & Generation Controlling is focusing on finance and business partnering support to the spinning assets we have in Offshore and all the supporting functions enabling the successful operation: from technicians to product development, from warehouses to end of life strategies - the team is there for the business..

We are now looking for a Junior Business Controller to work within the Generation Controlling team. While reporting to Head of BU & Generation Controlling, the role will primarily be working with more senior controllers on topics for the German windfarms and UK ones. You will be providing support to the Controllers in the DE, UK and also working with colleagues from Generation. There will be a broad scope of tasks and we expect you will have plenty of opportunity to develop quickly in this role.

As part of the Offshore controlling team you will have your direct team colleagues in Amsterdam (NL), Berlin (GE), Kolding (DK) and London (UK). Occasional travel might be required.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**

The following main tasks are in the responsibility in your role of Junior Business Controller:

- Supporting Business Controller colleagues in preparing and analyzing monthly results and forecasts;
- Preparing cost accruals as part of month end processes;
- Work with financial master data, requesting new objects and keeping the data up to date;
- Basic account reconciliations in conjunction with Accounting colleagues;
- Financial administration for revenue and cost billing on German offshore windfarms;
- Supporting operational staff with finance support;
- Ad-hoc tasks on an individual basis as well as with the other team members.

**Qualifications** Who are you?**

Furthermore you bring:

- Bachelor degree (or similar experience based level) in a relevant field i.e. controlling, economics, accounting or finance;
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.

The following experience will help you to get up and running quickly:

- You have experience of between 0-2 years in a finance role;
- SAP knowledge is beneficial.

- Strong levels of numeracy and IT skills
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing. Fluency in English is a must, German is strongly preferred.

- Open and active.
