About the job

Vattenfall is now looking for a Senior Business Controller for our Business Unit E-Mobility. As Senior Business Controller in Business unit E-Mobility you will contribute to set and achieve ambitious targets for the future for our growing business.

Main purpose of the position:
The Senior Business control position supports the department Sales & Operation Germany (S&O GER) in BU E-Mobility with all local business controlling matters in the regular reporting and plan-to-perform (business plan, forecast and follow-up) processes as well as financial analysis and decision making.

In addition to this, you will serve as a senior advisor towards the Business unit (BU) Controller of E-Mobility and support and provide advice in specific or over-arching BU controlling topics including the overall financial governance and steering of BU E-Mobility.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible and accountable for all business controlling topics concerning E-Mobility departments S&O GER including but not limited to
- Business plan and target setting process
- Forecast process
- Follow-up and KPI monitoring
- Actual closings including calculation of accruals
- Management reporting and actions planning and follow-up
- Maintain and develop Financial model
- As senior advisor to BU Controller support, challenge and influence BU controlling governance act as a sounding board and run specific improvement initiatives or analysis work

As Senior Business Controller E-Mobility you report to the Director of Business Control Cross Border who is also accountable for the overall controlling support for BU E-Mobility and acting as its BU Controller.

Key deliverables and activities:

- As part of the business control responsibilities towards S&O GER actively participate in their MT meetings, govern, maintain and execute management reporting, forecasting, business planning and actuals reporting (Finance Business Support function is responsible for accounting and record-to-report processes).
- Support the BU controller by being a Liaison between our business and compliance on related topics, risks, controls, audits, representation and mandates. Contribute to the development of plan-to-perform processes, management reporting and other finance topics via the business control team.
- Deliver miscellaneous ad hoc decision support.
- Review business cases, participate and/or advise in special projects or tasks.

**Profile**:
Your Profile and personal skills:

- Relevant work experience within Business controlling, Business administration or Commercial project management with a Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or similar education. Experience from utility business is a strong merit.
- You are a team player and natural networker with experience from working in a challenging and high-paced business environment.
- Proven ability to establish trust and build relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive, constructive and solution oriented
- High analytical skills with an eye for details
- Strong excel and presentation skills, SAP experience
- You are fluent in German (written and spoken) and possess a good mastering of English
