**Your mission**:

- Manage accounts payable including maintenance and further optimization of our workflow solution for invoice OCR and approval
- Clarify invoice items and manage fixed assets
- Maintain and properly reconcile subledger accounts as well as master data for subledgers (accounts payables)
- Prepare and conduct payment runs and book bank statements
- Support in preparing monthly and yearly financial statements (IFRS/HGB): Calculate and reconcile accruals for out standing invoices, perform regroupings.
- Support booking of travel expenses and credit card billing as well as internal and external audits
- Support the finance team with different projects, e.g. M&A, SAP automation; and Ad-hoc reportsfor the Management.

**Your profile**:

- Studies in economics and business administration with focus on Accounting and Finance or comparable apprenticeship as Financial Accountant
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in operational accounting
- Solid knowledge of German HGB and IFRS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as to deal with interfaces
- You thrive in high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working within a high-paced, impact-driven environment and getting hands-on to get projects to move forward
- Solid interpersonal and inter-cultural skill-set with the ability to collaborate and positively influence diverse stakeholder
- You are fluent in English and have at least a B2 level of German language
- Experience with SAP HANA (or similar) and profound MS Office knowledge (especially Excel) is required, experience with Jira and Confluence are a plus
