Pricing Expert

We are currently seeking a Pricing Expert (m|f|d) for our Marketing Operations business based at our headquarters in Goettingen, Germany (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH). You will have the flexibility of mobile working (2 - 3 days a week). In this position, you will be an experienced professional responsible for developing and implementing global pricing strategies through delivery of effective pricing models, including their execution and monitoring, for each Business Area within the Bioprocess Solution (BPS) division. You pursue a data-driven approach to review and define recommendations on product and customer pricing, parameters within the pricing waterfall, pricing policies and process as well as commercial frameworks.

**What you will accomplish together with us**
- In coordination with other Pricing Professionals, facilitate the process to set and manage list prices incorporating region specific pricing considerations and models
- Capture and analyze competitive intelligence and macroeconomic data
- Define regular pricing performance reports and analysis of international pricing, pricing waterfall, discount authorities including discount levels for product groups
- Support the development of data-based offer and pricing proposals for strategic customer opportunities, working closely with our Sales and Product Management teams
- Facilitate and support price maintenance and compliance
- Support the definition, roll-out and harmonization of pricing policies, processes and commercial frameworks
- Collaborate on global projects

**What will convince us**
- A Bachelor´s or Master’s University degree in business administration, economics, marketing or similar
- Proven years of relevant professional experience in pricing in a consulting, sales, or marketing role
- Detailed knowledge and analysis of the latest pricing and discount models
- Proven track record in the implementation and execution of pricing concepts and strategies, delivering complex end to end analysis and projects under tight deadline
- Ability to create realistic plans for large pieces of analysis and effective time management for the projects you lead
- Experienced in Excel (SAP/BIW is desirable, Python/R, SQL and Tableau skills a major plus)
- Strong analytical thinking and modelling skills as well as proven ability to accurately process large amounts of financial and quantitative information
- High business acumen and customer focus with practical mentality
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English - written & spoken
- Willingness to travel as needed (10% - 20%)
