**Job Description**:
**Your mission during this flight**:
- You will be the sparring-partner for the COO and the functional leads (e.g. production, procurement, program, supply chain
- You will implement automated, scalable and analytical reports to facilitate data driven decision-making across all levels of the organization
- You will take over the program controlling role for our program manager, first time implementation of controlling processes in a matrix organization
- You will be responsible for execution of budget & forecasting process for all functions, including regular performance reviews
- You will be responsible to ensure global system and process maturity, while continuously working on standardization and improvements, technical and procedural
- You will be responsible for monitoring production processes and results, calculating and controlling the costs of individual production steps, performing plan and variance analyses and profitability calculations
- You will facilitate the scalability of processes and systems within our Finance IT landscape, which includes a global ERP as well as reporting, consolidation, and planning tools
- You will contribute to our monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closure
- You will support investment and optimization decisions (e.g. make or buy)
- You will support our group accounting, financial accounting & corporate finance teams
**Qualifications**:
**Check in your professional skills**:
- Particularly strong background in production, program and supply chain controlling is desirable, ideally in aviation or biotech industries for 8+ years
- Experience in a fast-paced environment like a start-up or scale up desirable; ideally experience with managing controlling in a matrix framework
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with top and extended leadership team; work cross-functionally effectively with engineering, product, commercial, operations or management & support colleagues
- First leadership experience desirable
- Experience with implementation of modern and digital FP&A department/services based on state-of-the-art technology
- Have a minimum IFRS accounting understanding to connect the Financial Statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Equity) and align internal & external reporting requirements
- Degree with a focus on finance, FP&A, or related fields; MBA, PhD, CMA or CPA are a plus
- Fluent in English and German
