We are currently looking for energetic, client centric, results driven and self-motivated individual to start their career in Business Development with our team in Berlin as a:
**Business Development Jr. Associate (full-time)**
We are seeking a highly motivated, eager to develop their career in sales and client management as a Junior Associate with our Business Development team. The Business Development team is not only responsible for generating revenue and client capture, but entails a key understanding and execution of long-term client relationship management, project management, and analytical feedback.
Your start at Vencon will entail an immersive, comprehensive Trainee period, during which you will learn the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary for our unique, multi-faceted Business Development role. After successful completion of required training and learning, there is an expectation to advance to the position of Business Development Junior Associate within 3-6 months of hire.
**Key Responsibilities for Success in this Role**:
- Demonstrate value of ownership and accountability to deliver against annual sales tied to the identified region(s) and clients.
- Cultivate a detailed understanding of our service offerings and confidently communicate Vencon’s unique value proposition.
- Understand processes to carry out gathering data for our research studies, help analyze data, and prepare presentations.
- Attain knowledge of the consulting and professional services industry.
- Cultivate applicable sales acumen and foster business relationships with key decision makers (targeting key personnel in consulting and/or professional services firms).
- Enhance communication skills to present products and services to partners and customers.
- Comprehend coordination of multiple projects in parallel as well as interfacing with clients, partners, and internal departments.
- Collaborate closely within the Business Development Team, supporting your colleagues, as well as the greater organization to client success initiatives (providing data and feedback reports for various clients).
**Key Criteria - What You Offer to Vencon**:
- A university degree in business, economics, communications (or similar);
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); Additional languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, French) are a strong advantage.
- Analytical mindset & capabilities, self-driven attitude and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Motivated to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and adhere to deadlines;
- Execution of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) is essential.
- Bonus: Prior experience in sales or client relationship management tied to measurable KPIs
