Senior UX Designer

Now we are looking for two talented Senior UX Designers each taking the lead in shaping the user experiences for different portfolios supporting the green transition. As a Senior UX Designer at Volue, you will be a key player in either: - the energy power and gas market analysis portfolio - or the energy production planning and optimisation portfolio. You'll become an integral part of dynamic cross-functional teams, making a significant impact. In this role, you will be surrounded by team members who are not only eager to share their knowledge, but also to learn from you and your field of expertise. In Volue, we have a strong team of designers and a buzzing environment for sharing knowledge across of product portfolios and domains. In addition to the daily interaction with the team, you will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic user experience design initiatives. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and business understanding. You will be essential in driving these initiatives forward in collaboration with product stakeholders. **What you will be doing to make a difference**: - Head the user experience and customer journey for your portfolio - Identify problems, needs, and opportunities within the projects - User interaction (e.g. user interviews, co-creation projects, workshops) - Operate in all levels of the UX/CX journey (hands-on and high-level) - Work data driven by analyzing quantitative and qualitative results - Create, iterate, and test concepts - Challenge assumptions through testing and prototyping - Be a driving force to use and develop the Volues design system - Wave - Contribute to the strong design environment - making it even stronger **What you need to succeed**: - Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant Design Education / Certification in Design - Practical work experience can compensate for lack of formal education - Minimum 5 years of experience in a particular discipline within Design (preferably within the field of UX/UI/CX) - Strong experience working with Product Managers, Developers, and relevant stakeholders - Excellent knowledge of the design discipline and design research processes - Proven experience in the practical implementation of design methods/theories - A portfolio showcasing excellent design skills and how you approached and addressed complex challenges - Experience with Design software (Figma, Sketch, or similar) - High visualization skills of complex and large amounts of data - Language skills: English and preferably another language and preferably German Possessing a strong problem-solving mindset, a creative yet structured approach, excellent communication and collaboration skills, a user-centric perspective in designing products and services, a commitment to staying updated on the latest user practices, collaborative team-player attitude - all of this will give you a distinct advantage in the role. **Reasons to join Volue team and what we offer**: - Large degree of influence in shaping & developing the role further - Great colleagues in one of Europe’s most exciting green tech companies with innovative and international work environment - Flexible working hours & competitive compensation package In Volue, we cherish each employee’s competence, ideas and personality.
