Production Technologist for Plastic and Fiber

Company HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH Full time / Part time: The position can be filled in full or part time. Summary For the department "Production Technology" we are looking for a "Production Technologist Plastic and Fiber Composite Components (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible. The "Production Technology Mechanics" team is responsible for the main tasks: Development and optimization of manufacturing processes in the "Mechanical Components" department and at suppliers, support of investment projects, process qualifications and provision of process standards. Your Tasks- Development, qualification and optimization of manufacturing processes for fiber composite parts and plastic components, covering the following processes: - Focus: fiber composite technology in prepreg and infusion technology.- Shaping of machining for plastic components inlcuding injection molding, deep drawing and milling- 3D printing with polymer materials (FDM)- Adhesive bonding technology, potting and foaming technology- Painting technology in division of labor with the surface technologist- Support of the manufacturing area in the analysis and evaluation of deviations- Technological support of the purchasing department in supplier management- Planning and implementation of investment projects in the Mechanical Components area- Consultation with various contact persons from development, technology and production on chemical and materials technology issues for polymer materials Willingness to travel / visit suppliers including other European countries is required.
