I've partnered up with an award-winning management consultancy specialising in the Risk Advisory field. As a business, they are global leaders in advising businesses in Tax, Legal, Transaction Services, and of course, Technology Consulting in areas such as ERP, Digitalisation, IT Risk, and Internal Controls.
For their German division headquartered in Düsseldorf, they are now looking for a new business-minded Cyber Security professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is interested in setting up a new service line focusing on cybersecurity advisory as their new **Director of Cyber Security** (job title still to be defined). This is a hybrid working role, so you can expect to work from home and make occasional travels to clients for kick off phase of projects. Because of this, my client can consider caniddates located all across Germany.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build up a brand new successful cybersecurity consulting team, focusing on offerings based on current market trends, and have full autonomy to do this using methods that are relevant to you. This involves leveraging off an existing client base, bringing in new business, as well as managing and developing your team so they also excel and achieve their career goals.
Ideally, you bring around 10 years of experience in the security consulting field, experience dealing with and consulting senior stakeholder management on cyber security risk, and experience leading teams. Most importantly, you bring with you the motivation and drive to build up your own team within a fully-fledged and successful risk advisory organisation, under the mentorship of Partners running an already profitable technology risk practice.
