As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be in the foundation of a real-time team that creates automotive solutions in Unity and Unreal. This consists of creation of clusters, center stack or visualizers.
What will you do?
- Assist artists in the creation of shader friendly assets in terms of determination of the format or isolate the necessary assets from existing projects to be used in Unreal Engine
- Assist programmers in the creation of shaders and systems
- Help artists create a foundation for an easier asset translation pipeline at the design phase to be used in a real-time engine
- Use existing 2D and 3D tools to translate design into a Unity or Unreal Engine project
Who are you?
- At least 3+ years of experience as a technical artist in a relevant industry
- Proficiency using photoshop and other image editing programs
- Proficiency using 3D modeling programs such as Maya, Cinema4D, etc
- Demonstrable experience in Unity’s and Unreal Engine’s material editor
- Sharp attention to detail
- A good ability to maintain the balance between performance and modularity
- A released commercial product as a technical artist or a similar role is a plus
- Experience in scripting tools such as Python and/or Unreal Engine blueprints is a huge plus
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Experience in UI design/programming is a plus
