Role Overview:
We are searching for an emerging HR professional to report to our HR Manager and supporting around 250 colleagues in Germany and Austria. Based in or near to the Cologne area, with hybrid working possible, you will be responsible for implementing regional and local HR initiatives, be the point of contact for HR activities throughout the employee life cycle and partnering with operational stakeholders to support their business objectives.

This is a great opportunity to work in a multi-national environment where you will be able to work with and learn from experienced HR colleagues from across EMEA. The extended team includes colleagues in production, finance, purchasing and sales.

Typical Accountabilities:

- Perform HR administration and the drafting of all relevant HR documents such as employment contracts, certificates, works council hearings, etc.
- Implementation of recruitment measures for a defined group of employees
- Support the HR team administratively and organizationally in special projects (e.g. employee surveys, performance management, creating presentations, preparing key figures)
- Maintain the human resource information system Workday
- Optimization of HR processes and work on national and international HR projects
- As a substitute, you will take on tasks in the area of preparatory payroll accounting and Protime time management

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Able to demonstrate experience in a human resources position, with knowledge of labor law and works constitution law
- Have a customer driven approach involving adherence to deadlines and support of department objectives
- Must be fluent in German and English
