Laboratory Technician

Join a great team at one of the most recognized companies in the world Our client, a global pharmaceutical and chemical company with over 100,000 employees worldwide and optimal working conditions, is looking for a **Laboratory Technician** to work in their Bioassays & CGT-Analytics Department at their facilities in Elberfeld, Germany under an 18-month fixed-term leasing contract. (ANÜ). The desired start date is 01 June 2025. The contract runs until the end of November 2026. Our client is a global pharmaceutical and chemical company with over 100,000 employees worldwide with optimal working conditions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Development, optimization, standardization and routine execution of flow cytometry based and functional cell-based assays
- Planning, execution, documentation and evaluation of experiments
- Handling and maintenance of complex automation, flow cytometry and microscopy devices
- Writing of SOPs and other documents
- Support internal and external customers / functions
- Contribution to the development of biologics and cell therapies

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Scientific technical training (e.g. BTA, Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, PhD) in cell biology or related life science fields
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cellular biology is essential
- Extensive practical experience with advanced cell culture techniques and flow cytometry is essential
- Experience with fluorescence microscopy and automated set ups is advantageous
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in implementation and evaluation of flow cytometry assays to characterize cell therapy products
- Strong reliability and sense of responsibility
- Very good communication skills and a strong analytical mindset
- Enjoy working in a team in a fast evolving and challenging environment
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and foster open dialogue and teamwork
- Good knowledge of German and/or English

**Additional information**:
Working hours Monday - Friday between 06:30 - 15:30 = 7.5 hrs/day
