Working Student Application Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sound technical advice to customers in the realm of analog, digital, and RF board design
- Design unique and unprecedented electronic structures based on AME
- Interpret customer needs
- Translate 2D designs to 3D
- Assist in internal test and R&D efforts
- Be an evangelist on the adoption of additively manufactured electronic devices via customer education, training, tools usage and design consideration support
- Provide on-site in-person trainings to customers on how to use Nano Dimension products
Required skills and experience:
- ECAD skills: Altium Designer and/or Cadence Allegro
- Student of BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded SW, or any other relevant area of study
- Firm understanding of PCB layout existing technologies and design practices
- Understanding of impedance-controlled lines and multilayer PCB design
- PCB assembly techniques, soldering experience (reflow or manual)
- Familiarity with mechanical design using SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good command of German language.
Desired skills and experience:
- Python scripting & Embedded C programming or micropython.
- FDM or SLA 3D printing
- Pick and place machine, Flying probe test
- Proficiency with EM test equipment such as VNA / TDR
- EE simulation such as HFSS, CST or ADS along with SPICE.
